 Statistics:

 Mildly grumpy purr at 850rpm,

Starts to come up on boost by 2400rpm,

 Swings with a roar to 8000rpm with it's freshened up bottom end

Has all the trimmings, e.g. seats, parcel shelf, stereo, factory dash + all Calais options etc.

Tomei Adjustable Cam gears,

ARP main, heads & cam cap studs

Precision turbo,

RB26 Pump w/billet gears

stock ITB's, Billet Fuel Rail,

RDG Engineering's High Volume baffled oil sump

 

 

with all rings, mains, big ends, clearance & installed.

Engine almost completed now, should be back on the track soon.

Still running a Standard ECU but this time it will be an RB20DET version recalibrated to suit the GM LS2 multi-coil setup to match the twin cam.

FMIC Redesigned by JPS to match VL chassis rails

JPS 3.5" Dump & 2" gate to be

 plumbed back in when the full 3.5" is installed.

Traction is still an issue at highways speeds on low boost

 

23-5-2019 WSID Race for Real on 225's.. 11.1's @ 133.94MPH

4 stage Boost control gave us a nice smooth run.

These old 225's really held on, here it is

that 11 second pass I was aiming for.

 

 

Expect to see some bigger MPH figures to come.
